Christmas Coziness

With Christmas now 4 days away it is time to post the last of our Christmas decor.  A follow-up to my post 47:52 from a three weeks ago.  When I posted it, I thought  I would finish decorating before now.  Obviously, I am still learning about my new time schedule!

One of my favorite things about our apartment is the fireplace, not a working fireplace, but something about it just adds coziness to our home.  And I love changing it up with the seasons!

One of my favorite projects from last Christmas was this vase with spray painted sticks.

Here’s the cheap vase filler…

Pour popcorn kernels in a gallon ziplock back, add red paint, shake it, and pour onto a cookie sheet covered in wax paper to dry.  Easy, cheap vase filler!

I love having ornaments with a story.  Here are a couple of my favorites from our tree in post 47:52.

We bought this one on our honeymoon in Maine.

I was especially encouraged by this one last Christmas.  The hope of a Savior, the hope a new year to come, and the hope of a family.  God has been so faithful this year!

I hope your Christmas is merry and filled with wonderful memories!
